First off, I don't come here for an argument, and I'm not trying to create one. Maybe my observation here is totally wrong, but this is what I see. It happens a lot, recently most notably with regard to Paul Heckingbottom and the questioning thereof. First off, I'm "crediting" Hemworth Tyke, here because I've read his posts here. Someone may well be saying the same thing on another group. Anyway Hemsworth Tyke posts something so outrageous that he gets people's attention. People have pop at him, he's either "attention seeking", "on a (rubbish) wind up", "he's having a go at our best" (See Mark Roberts, Bobby Hassell, Luke Steele, even Sam Winnall etc) or some other such thing. Then, give it a month, and it seems to me, a lot of people are coming out of the woodwork and saying exactly the same things. EXACTLY THE SAME THING. The things I saw on Twitter last night just .... well, let's say I just couldn't agree with some of the negative posts toward our management team. I've not read the BBS since after the last match, and the Facebook group is just a no go after any sort of loss (match result or player) but I suspect Hemsworth's views are rather more vocal there. This post wasn't intended to defend HT, but it needs to be said, he's said a few things, give it a month and lots more people are agreeing with his words....however wrong, (IMHO) that they often are. What I'm trying to say is, we're going through a bad patch. Let's crack on and get behind the team. COME ON YOU REDS. Thank you and goodnight. Tony
I've only heard one person saying Hecky out. And Hemsworth has always slated Hecky and many of our better, more popular players. He's not the Barnsley equivalent of Nostradamus, he just always takes a controversial view.
You come onto our message board and expect no debate about why we've suddenly lost 4 games on the trot in such a disappointing fashion?
Not at all. But seeing suggestions that PH isn't good enough is a little strong in my opinion. People also appear to be jumping over what one person is saying, and less than a month later being in total agreement with said person whilst continuing to slag said person off.
I'm repeating myself but I haven't seen anybody repeating what Hemsworth has said. One or two are starting to question Hecky but that's very different to the OTT stuff that Hemsworth was posting and has always posted about our head coach.
It’s a weird analogy to use. He was tipping that Ugbo would tear this league apart, that Hourihane would be **** at Villa, that we had a top 10 Squad with only our manager holding us back, that Fryers was quality etc.
