Yesterday afternoon after spending an hour on the beach near Santander, we returned to Daisy to find that some a-hole had broken in and stolen my laptop and Samsung tablet along with Anne's iPad. What a piece of utter scum.

Ffs Brush that is terrible mate. Hope the police can recover the items but I’d say a bit doubtful they will.

I think you can do that if they connect it to the Internet. It's worth a try.

No mess, they took my backpack but left Anne's asthma inhaler which was in it on the floor. Which is mighty considerate. Cracked the window and broke 2 of the 3 latches.

the police were helpful, I collared a local police car patrolling the street just a couple of minutes after we discovered it, they called it in and gave us the address of a Guardia Civil station that were then expecting us. They took statements and gave us an incident number.

We are booked on the ferry on the 20th but are going to the port in the morning to give them the sob story (Anne's cousin passed away last week as well so she wants to be at the funeral). Hopefully if tomorrow's boat isn't full they'll let us go on it. Just want to get home now.
