Boris Johnson 04/01/2020 Our democratically elected prime minister I'm definitely on the wrong planet.
That was the bit that had us laughing. By all means praise the scientists and their ingenuity, but "miracle"...? No. Whoever wrote his speech should be sacked. Whoever proof read it should be sacked. Whoever approved it should be sacked. And don't get me started on the bloke who read it out loud on national television to an audience of several million...
Usually takes me until about June until I realise the year has changed. I could go back and edit it but I'm not.
Hundreds of years of insight, endeavour and education went into the development of the Covid vaccines. Human ingenuity at its best. (it still requires much more testing btw but that's a different argument). It's the perfect example of why we need to properly fund education and research. But no, our prime minister thinks its a fk*cing miracle. It happened miraculously. We're all screwed. The driver of the bus doesn't have his hands on the wheel, he's looking back at his passengers, grinning inanely, telling everyone God will save them.
What would be a miracle is Bojo the Clown making an early decision. Sunday he was saying schools are safe. Yesterday he closes them. As Jr. Didcot Red 2 said: open the schools for a day to give the virus a good stir and send the children home to pass on the infection. Whose side is he on?
Everything about the man annoys me. Just comb your f***ing hair. You're prime minister of the United Kingdom, not a member of some teenage boy band It's not cool, or endearing, we all know it is by design, so grow up, get a grip. If you can't even manage your personal grooming you shouldn't be in charge of our response to a pandemic!!
Even a year ago I couldnt believe the UK were so stupid as to vote in such an obviously unsuitable clown as deFeffel Absolutely everything in his track record showed he was one of the last people you wanted to lead the country even if you had Tory leanings, but for some reason I still dont understand over 40% voted for him which due to our flawed electoral system gifts him with total power. There hasnt been a leader of either main party in my lifetime less suited to lead us through a crisis just at the time we have the worst one and he is in charge of the country I dont see any way out in the short to medium term and even if the Tories were to ditch him who is there that would take his place -smart money on Gove just to prove no matter how bad things get its always possible for them to get worse
This gets me when he comes on T.V. and say's "stay home and protect the NHS", I always thought the NHS was there to protect you and I but it doe's want protecting from this Tory Government over the last 11years the NHS staff as had maybe one 1% pay rise they have cut 40,000 nursing staff and stoped student nurse bursaries so fewer student nurses coming through some parts of the NHS have been privatised so them parts will be dictated by money going into someone's pocket, never a good thing. They were wooing the voter by saying they were going to build 40 new hospitals they have built 0, so yes let's protect the NHS but from these Torys.
