Is how some of you lot are so surprised we're rubbish. We've done exactly what we did two years ago but worse & that saw us relegated after less upheaval.
100%, I was shocked how many of our fans on here were taken in by "the greatest transfer window ever in our history"
I get the hope & excitement but it was clear to anyone that wanted to see it the business this summer was batsh1t mental.
I'm not surprised we're rubbish, I'm surprised at just how rubbish we are. 9 points after 18 games. I mean just look at that.
But last time round we sold players who had 6.months remaining one who forced a move, we had 2 windows to sort the squad out, we could bring in loans. This time we sell our top scorer with 2 and half years left dont replace, we sell both center backs and replace with gambles, every player has to make a profit, we dont do loans as it doesnt make us money the owners go into hiding when results go bad. Recipients for disaster.
I just find the 20-20 hindsighters hilarious, when I was one of few complaining about the sales of Pinnock and Moore they were all raving about the signing of Andersen and Wilks
This isn't the time to be scoring points against people that didn't share your point of view in the summer. Their positivity then had no bearing on what's happening at Oakwell now. We shouldn't be squabbling over who thought what and when. We now have a bigger problem that's a cuckoo in the nest. We should all be pulling together to work out what we're all going to do to get them to either improve things or get the club up for sale and **** off.
Nobody is surprised that we’re bad, but the extent is a bit unexpected. Not much use in “I told you so”-ing: our anger should be at Conway and co
I’m not surprised we’re struggling, it was inevitable with the continuation of 3 years of asset stripping from the previous board to this, but what I am surprised about is how bad the players we’ve brought in are as to be fair in the past we’ve done pretty well at getting good players on the cheap. I expected relegation but I didn’t expect us to smash the record for lowest ever points total.
Considering we got off to such a dreadful start we've done well to turn it round to be honest. Special.
