Despite only having one season of professional football under his belt and onky making 31 league starts before today he showed a lot of maturity in the way he handled having such an inexperienced player next to him. He was talking to him all the game and when a few of his teammates including his captain and the fans were all calling for him to go forward and take a long throw in he stood firm and refused because he knew that protecting Macdonald was more important. That's what that extra couple of years of life experience means. Brilliant stuff
Yes I noticed that as well. Apart from White he is now senior man at the back and his application and sense of responsibility was way beyond the call of duty. Captain material
