That's 2 bad. Joking aside. As a big U2 fan it is possibly my favourite of many favourites of theirs.
I can't stand U2. It's Beth's favourite band, she even had a Bono calendar at her desk. I often reminded her how s*** they are. No wonder she likes you mate!
Seen em 5 times. I'm same with Coldplay, who as I see as a poor man's U2. 1 or 2 decent records but each to their own. I know a lot don't like Bono. The way comes over. And not a great fan of him personally. But some fantastic Albums. Hated the discotheque era though. Glad they went back to the U2 of old. As for Beth. (We'd talk U2 on occasion and believe it or not, about her Dad who had similar views to myself on politics/unionism) Do you get to see her mate. I tried to catch her at Blackpool as we (Hoyland reds) delivered some tokens of appreciation and wish her better health to her hotel, but missed her. I don't know if she'd recognise me tbh given her condition the last time I heard. Which is a fair while ago. I know you wouldn't be able to comment on her present condition btw.
