The one to set up McAtee for his goal I mean. It’s been described as a “long ball” etc but it was much more than that. I forget who it was on MOTD last night that set up Salah with a similar pass and I remember thinking “Wow I wish we could play that kind of ball”.

Well I’ve just watched our two goals video over and over and the way Callum clips that ball is sublime. If you just hoof it the ball keeps travelling and maybe goes out for a goal kick. But just watch how he plays it so that it goes the right distance and then sits up, inviting the shot. It was just fantastic and that should put a million on his value straight away. It takes a special kind of player to be able to pass like that.

The finish wasn’t bad either, and how good it was to see the Steve Cooper acrobatics again.

Just a shame he doesn't apply his ability for more than 30 seconds a season

It was more of a chip than a hoof - and a play theyve been practising in training. Who says they never do any?

It's a good ball like mcatee says they've been working on that in training putting balls into space and behind the back line. If you watch Mcatee takes a touch and scores a great finish.
Styles is far better at lwb he's mostly had zero influence on games from center midfield this season. Hope he stays at lwb but I also like cadden who when he cuts inside offers a bigger goal threat.

It never occurred to me for one second that it was a hoof downfield but it’s only today that I’ve appreciated just how good a pass it was. Styles has it in him to produce moments of magic EVERY game so it’s infuriating that he doesn’t do it more often.

Perhaps the LWB berth is his for the next few games when he either gets us a big transfer fee or we get the quality player that has been missing most of the season.

We've got a lot of quality players for the level we're at, when things truly click we will take some beating. Chuffed for Styles and Kane yesterday after the stick they've had recently.

Agree entirely. It's one of the reasons I gave Styles my Player Of The Match vote. Styles had an excellent game yesterday and looked like an international class player.

If they both see the season out, surely we've got to find room in the starting line-up for both Styles and Cadden.

You can multiply the 30 seconds by quite a lot just from yesterday.

For me styles best position is lwb, too many times he was a total passenger in center midfield this season I think the penny finally dropped with collins that he shouldn't be playing there after the Derby and Blackpool games. Needs to play lwb for me, but is he a better lwb than cadden? I like cadden he's a good player and will get goals and assists in this league.
The op saying that pass has put 1million on styles value, I think styles just needs to knuckle down and turn out good performances consistently then championship clubs will come calling.

I don't think he's anywhere near caddens quality. I hope that Collins picks the team on merit and not resale value.

It's a shame we don't play with wingers. I could see Cadden as a left winger. He's an excellent crosser and has a good shot. Perhaps Styles and Cadden could work well together on the left.

Alot of smoke gets blown up styles he had a good game yesterday but they've been few and far between this season. And I agree he should pick the team on merit.

One of the best goals I've seen at Oakwell for many a year.
