for gifting England all three points last night. Thank you, Matus, for feigning a ridiculous injury during added time, which resulted in the additional two minutes during which England scored. Thank you also for allowing the ball past you - it probably slipped off the greasy spray they had put on your knee. Thank you also, Martin Skrtel, for reminding us so much of Chris Morgan, always likely to score an own goal, give away a needless penalty, or get sent off, or, an a bad day, all three.

Thanks, chaps. A little more sportsmanship in future might help you and your team.

Skrtel...once a thug always a thug. I hate deliberate stamps as much as spitting. How thick can you get when it has major TV coverage, referee has already blown for a foul so is looking in that direction and you deliberately stamp on a players ankle and believe you will get away with it?
