Agreed, just a standard away loss that we grew accustomed to the last time we were in the Championship.

As long as we stick to our principles though, we will have more good days than bad.

Yep. Very poor. No desire, fight or class from anyone in a red shirt. Worrying that we've lost every time we've gone behind this season too.

No need to panic yet though, a good performance on Tuesday and all will be forgiven

Didn't we go behind against QPR? Guessing you mean the first goal?

I wouldn't go that far, the effort was there, the lack of quality was frustrating though. On reflection it's not the end of the world, but I thought changes could have been made earlier on in the game. It's a hell of a long way to go though, but that's football and the risks you take.

A perfect opportunity to put the last 2 results and performances right on Tuesday evening. Let's give them the support they deserve!

I thought we were supposed to be pressing and working our ****** off without the ball. Putting teams under pressure and forcing mistakes. Brighton did that 100 x better than us today.

I thought Hammil was second worse player on pitch, he lost ball a lot but at least he was trying. Thought Winnall was worst

    A few observations today:

Agree, Hammil wasn't effective today; often tried too much clever stuff when confronted by two players, and lost the ball instead of laying if off to Kpekawa on the overlap or passing to others.

Watkins on the wing isn't the answer for me: he needs to be upfront alongside Armstrong or Bradshaw. Sam was disappointing today and looked very frustrated when he came off on 75 minutes.

We lacked the fire today, standing off their players and giving them time and space. There was a spell in the second half early on where they dominated possession for around 20 minutes, we barely got a kick.

Best player for us today for me was Andy Yiadom at right back.

Thoroughly disappointing today; we played far better against Ipswich when we could have earned a draw in spite of the 4-2 scoreline suggesting otherwise. Today we deserved nothing. A bad day altogether compounded by the tedious 3 hour rail journey back to London.
