If Williams isn't in at centre back, he's got to be at wing back.

I'd also have Phillips in midfield with Kane and allow them to to play like last season with Connell behind them.

7 of that 11 all have names that start with the same hard 'C' sound. Maybe Collins DOES have a plan....

It would certainly be a big statement from Collins to drop his captain. Though at present, and if Lopata is fit, Williams' form warrants being dropped at the minute.

I've been disappointed with Philips this season, and for me he's done nothing to deserve a start. He's made a limited impact in any of the games I've seen, and his shooting's been poor, unlike last season.

An example is the corner played to him on the floor from a corner, late on in yesterday's game. He blazed it wildly, way over the bar.

He has been disappointing yes. So has Kane. I think it is how they have been asked to play and now Connell is back, they should both be able to play as proper midfielders further forward. I really believe they would both look much better and link the play from midfield to attack.

Difficult to criticise in my opinion - trying to do what he did last season. Just not coming off. That’s confidence and playing a different system to last year too.

Being made captain had a massive detrimental impact on him.

I agree, as has being played at centre half in my opinion.
