Is it acceptable in this PC world to say that I ******* hate the police and have zero respect for them.
I’m not new to this world but this is just based on my personal experience.

That picture of the injury is horrific. Surely the 'police officer' has by now been indefinitely suspended and placed under arrest on suspicion of ABH/GBH with intent. Hopefully the lad is okay.

I'm sure there are good cops, I've just not met any. And the ******** officers get away with it because of the 'omerta' that exists in the force. Best avoided at all costs in my experience.

Disgrace, two lads fighting no need to use the baton at all. No weapons on show from what i can see so i cant see why he needed to use such force. Do they not get taught how to diffuse such situations? Its in the publics interest to know exactly whats happened with this copper.

Lads obviously shouldn’t be fighting but the police officers reaction is ridiculous and way over the top. Should be done for assault. Put on a uniform and think they can do whatever they want.

Appears to have a second swipe when on the ground.

Its nothing to do with being PC but to say you ******* hate the police makes you a bit of a knob.
I ******* hate people who generalise. Is that acceptable in this PC world?

There is a strict code of conduct that outlines what a Police officer can/ cannot do in circumstances
similar to those that occurred outside Greggs today.

The lads involved in the fight were in the wrong, but the level of force/violence used by the police officer
was unacceptable and he deserves to be disciplined. The way that he runs at the young lad indicates
that he had totally " lost it" and the wound that he has inflicted is truly horrendous.

If the lads are charged with affray they should face the full force of the law, but what can't be allowed to
happen, is a uniformed officer taking the law into his own hands.

I’ve been a law abiding citizen all my life and I’ve been made to feel like a criminal many times when my only “crime” was attending a football match.
It’s time you stepped out of your ex squaddie Tory boy bubble and faced up to the challenges of the real world

Yep the police are all utter tw*ts, each and every one of them. Proper bstards all of them. They never do anything besides harassing law abiding members of the public at football. Maybe its time you stepped out of your student union, anti establishment bubble and judged the police on the job they do 24/7 365 days a year.

Its because of trouble makers that law abiding fans sometimes see a less than friendly side of the police at football but most people can see the bigger picture. Having said that I've only experienced it a handful of times in all the years I've been going to games.

I have also been to Rugby matches and fans are treated very differently there. I wonder why?

Whenever I've had to deal with the police where I've had property stolen or damaged they've been useless.
Whenever I've encountered them as a law abiding football fan they've been a disgrace and at times indiscriminately violent.
I've also had to work alongside them for a period of months and found them to be a complete bunch of yobs.

A copper grabbed me today and shoved me over for nothing. I was literally just waking past the train station. It's only half syp's fault. The council have to take some of the blame for what they've created with us having to walk around the train station. It was an absolute farce after the match today.

You should vent your anger at network rail, it was they who closed the crossing

He should vent his anger at Network Rail because a policeman pushed him over?
