Will be less coughs, cold, norovirus etc this year? Given that hand sanitizer, washing hands, wearing masks, not so many people crowded indoors are supposed to prevent the spread, plus people isolating with symptoms like high temperatures, cough , loss of taste and smell?

I did see a quote from a Gastroenterologist earlier in the summer who said that the number of people presenting with gastric bugs and sickness had "fallen off a cliff" since the handwashing directive had been brought it - just shows there are some dirty bstards out there who never used to wash their hands.

Did you see the reports where scientists had been hoping to study the interaction between seasonal flu and Covid-19 (if any) in the Southern Hemisphere. Given they get their seasonal flu in our summer. Well there wasn’t any! Nowt, lockdown was so effective in South Africa and Argentina they had practically no seasonal flu.
It will not be the same for us this winter given the fatigue with lockdown and social distancing.
