If you haven't seen this it is a series filmed in 2017 when we went down with them.
It is a great set of programmes and is probably what we all feel about our clubs.
It does however demonstrate the "massive we are a big club attitude"
    Well worth watching

    Called Sunderland till I die

Watched it all this weekend really enjoyed it showed a good insight into a club in transition and the problems it faces when stripping back the spending. Thing that made me laugh the most was the bloke waving his money at the referee saying “shall we have a whip round”

Would definitely recommend others to watch.

    Just finished watching it now.

I though Coleman came across really well, completely changed my opinion of him to be honest. Did anyone catch why that fan called him a ***** at the end? What did he say to Coleman prior to that and what did Coleman come back with?

Rodwell was made out to be a bit of a pantomime villain and part of me can see why but if you were on 70k and there were no clubs coming in remotely near that kind of ballpark figure, let's face it you're going to honour your contract. He should have made every effort to play if fit though and I get the impression that wasn't the case???

Just shows the dangers of someone splashing the cash and walking away. Im glad Chien and co do not appear to be intending to do that.

If we had a similar show it would encourage more fans to purchase iFollow.

It would but it would take a lot of resources and probably need to add resources as well .
I’m not sure we have enough interest to sustain it .
There’s the daydream believers s out there to keep our interest going for a while yet

We wouldn't have to spend a fortune as our media is very good as it is. Daydream Believers is from over twenty odd years ago now. Best time in our history but I would prefer seeing something documentary wise on our current squad.

Knowing how much DDB cost to make & the amount of effort required to do that, this Sunderland one will have cost hundreds of if not millions to make. It's not something a media department could do on top of their day job but I'd love to see something like it.

Watched DDB for the first time last week. Absolutely blown away by the quality mate. My dad hasn't shut up about it. You've given life to a couple of masterpieces this year mate, although I think the second one will curtail your creativity for a while yet. Enjoy every minute though.

That's very kind - the quality was all Chris the director, my job was to get us organised and do all the **** he didn't want to do! Lovely to hear you & your old man enjoyed it too.

And in terms of the little one, she's blown my mind already. Busy year!!

Amazing achievement mate, you should all be very proud. I still can't believe what you make happen when you put your mind to it.

Just take it all in. It doesn't seem 2 minutes that I had mine all newborn in my arms watching us destroy Birmingham away on Sky under Keef.

Sunderland's media department didn't make the documentary. Fulwell 73 produced it. They made Class of 92 as well, and a One Direction documentary.

Ours last season would have been some watch, mind.

Didn't know that. The publicity Sunderland have now their club is available to 100+ million Netflix subscribers around the world is huge. It should help them pick up a few casual fans from afar like how we like sports teams from abroad that we probably will never watch live. If Chien could get our club on Chinese TV for over a billion to watch, that would be great. Not sure how much our club (management more than board) would want you guys filming in away game hotels, training pitch, game day dressing room etc to produce a series of say 10 episodes of 45-60 minute episodes.

One a week rather than binge watch would be something to enjoy over the summer off season and keep the club more fresh in the minds when people are buying a season pass or new replica shirt.

My main motivation was supporting like minded lazy sons.
