We are flush with cash to spend, hopefully we can get some quality in.

Apparently being in the champ is worth 6m more than lg1
6.6m from stones sale and rumoured 5m. From Mawson

so we are currently 17m better off than this time last season

Trouble is it's only going to drive up prices, we don't have that to spend, the transfer policy will be the same as it's always been - identify a player and then ask Mr Cryne if we can make an offer. The guy must have chucked £25m at us without ever expecting to see any return, and in the Championship what would you do if you were him?

I'd just be looking to establish a good foundation at the minute, don't waste a load of money to just finish 13th, keep a side that will compete and hope for a good home record, continue to get more fans on board, improve the ground etc.

We're still in a better position than any other resent season in the championship

And teams from the league above are signing our players :)

Yeah it will be disapointing if a few million isn't spent to try and invest us to a mid table side in the next 2-3 transfer windows. We just about got out of league one with our transfer policy and of course we should continue along the same lines. But to avoid a relegation battle in this much tougher tier we need a few more savvy heads.

Totally agree let Mr C decide what to do with the money, without him we probably wouldn`t have a club.

I think we should use a bit of money to get 1 big signing in. It's a rare treat to have a bit of money - let's spend a million on a CB, sign Isgrove and get another CM in
