    Dias is injured. He’s only started about 12 this season due to injuries and Laporte. Played a handful of games at right back recently.

    Stones has been superb this half. His ability find a long range pass is up there with any defensive player in the world.

    But what he has played he's played well, is the point I was making. Just as Morris has played well for us despite missing the start of the season.

    To be fair Stones was injured himself earlier in the season & as well as the games he has been playing in the league he has also been playing in the European fixtures , today so far he showing what a Rolls Royce of a player he is although his recent matches for England have also been excellent performances, even the tabloids are leaving him alone & have gone to picking on Maguire , top class is our John.

    I’ve mentioned that in an earlier thread if you read up.

    You won’t find a bigger John a stones fan than me, so it wasn’t a criticism, just a fact. He’s struggled to get game time when Dias has been fit due to Laporte being in incredible form himself. Three of those 12 starts have come at right back as well.

    Defences on both teams have been on the beach today mind. Attack. Attack. Attack

    I have read up thank you & I wasn"t having a go at you , I think Walker was on the beach for Liverpools second but it is a cracking game to watch .

    A cracking game. Once LIverpool started to pass it they did a lot better. The FA cup tie has to result in a winner though!

    Are you referring to Maguire when saying we let him go? He was about 14/15 when he left. Bit harsh berating the club for that. plenty of players leave around that age to join other clubs, and then are a success

    Not sure what you are on about, in the end we did quite well out of John Stones considering how many games he had played for us & as for Maguire , he was just out of nappies when we parted company with him & a fee would never have been involved .

    Didn't we get around 8 million in total after he joined Man city? Due to the sell on fee? That's a very good amount considering where we were at the time, our financial limits & the actual game time he played for us
