Still not seen us beat Wigan at home

No doubting the effort from the lads today, but we never really troubled either Wigan goalkeeper. That bit of guile, imagination & skill wasn't there in the final third for us.
Just before last Christmas, they came to Oakwell and won extremely comfortably. We've come on leaps and bounds since then, so it's probably natural to feel disappointed with today's result. We do have players now, though, who we can bring in if anyone's performance drops off. It'll be interesting to see what changes are made for the next match.
We've steadied the ship a bit and are now four unbeaten, which also includes three clean sheets in those games. Hopefully, we can now look to kick on.
The minute's silence was well observed and Mr Cryne's tribute on eighty minutes looked impressive.
I'm looking forward to the Forest game next Friday now.

 

Agree with that. It's so nice to be annoyed at only drawing with last seasons champions.

Shows how far we've come in a year. Solid at back and hopefully can now get a few goals.

Lovely to have options and quality players to bring in.

Would perhaps bring Morsey in for Scowen and play Bradshaw and Armstrong up front. Hammill in for Kent.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing those lads given a run out, either.

Wigan fimished top pf L1 we finished 6th.
They had 13 points more than us and a GD which was +31 better than ours.

So its a good feeling to be a lot better than them so far this term.
