If we win Saturday and burton win or draw we are out of relegation zone

I know it’s not going to happen but how bad is this league

I would say it is definately worse than normal this year and an easy year to stay up in theory, at this stage when flicker kept us up we had 51pts and were second bottom

    19 Sheffield Wednesday 44 15 10 19 51 60 -9 55
    20 Huddersfield Town 44 14 12 18 48 70 -22 54
    21 Peterborough United 44 14 9 21 63 72 -9 51
    22 Wolverhampton Wanderers 44 14 9 21 54 65 -11 51
    23 Barnsley 44 13 12 19 52 68 -16 51
    24 Bristol City 44 11 8 25 57 77 -20 41

and the year before we had 47 with two to go

    19 Nottingham Forest 44 13 8 23 45 61 -16 47
    20 Barnsley 44 13 8 23 49 72 -23 47
    21 Bristol City 44 11 12 21 41 67 -26 45
    22 Portsmouth 44 13 11 20 49 55 -6 40
    23 Coventry City 44 9 13 22 41 59 -18 40
    24 Doncaster Rovers 44 7 12 25 39 77 -38 33

just if that were to happen and Derby beat villa and millwall lose to boro, our game v derby would see them be guaranteed playoffs and possibly rest players?

We "rest" players every week, but it don't seem to work.

I mean Derby will play a weak team to avoid injuries for playoffs, we probably wouldn't beat their second team anyway though

do you honestly believe that we will beat Brentford... they are still in with a good shout of the play offs... we have no chance at all. We are relegated, get used to it.

Whilst we're all on Fantasy Island, IF (bold, capitals, highlighted) we beat Brentford, Ipswich beat Reading, QPR beat Brum and Burton beat Bolton (the last one not being beyond the realms of possibility) we could go into the last day with the foot of the table looking like this:

    19 Reading 43pts GD -19
    20 Birmingham City 43pts GD -31
    21 Barnsley 41pts GD -22
    22 Burton Albion 41pts GD -43
    23 Bolton Wanderers 40pts GD -35
    24 Sunderland dead & buried.

On the other hand Reading, Birmingham and Bolton all win, we lose and it's all over!

This group of incompetent, and cannot be arsed players who are not fit to wear the shirt could not beat Derby's under 23's team
