    Quite right too. This is the same Saudi Arabia that ordered the cold blooded murder of a dissident journalist in their Turkish embassy a few years ago. The sporting world should not go near this odious regime.

    I’m looking forward to the first public flogging of a football manager who has an unacceptably bad result in that league. Or maybe the stoning of a player who has missed a penalty. Should provide that bit more focus to get a good result.
