Many years ago when I was a student, I bought a pork pie that was half price because it was due to expire that day. When I got home I unwrapped it and looked forward to my first nibble. Unfortunately it expired before I got the chance. I was left with a plastic wrapper with a few crumbs. I've never got over it.
