They can't announce any transfers until all parties have agreed so. It would be stupid to talk about any transfers until they are fully signed up. The transfer deadline date is the end of August so not all players will jump to another club before they need to. Players move on. Coaches move on. Pre season friendly results have no impact on how the season goes. We can't and don't want the board to spend money we don't have or put our club at risk with large debt. Not every signing works out. You can't force a player to sign a new contract. You have to give a new coach time. New players can get up to speed pretty quickly. Moaning and being negative drains everyone around you. Being positive and hopeful doesn't.
