He's stepped up to the plate recently.
The whole working class should stop bickering amongst themselves and back him .

Sadly, I think Johnson will still survive, and will be able to because we have system that has somebody kicked out of the commons for calling a liar a liar, whilst the said liar, in the same session accuses Starmer of letting Jimmy Saville off the hook and the entire Labour front bench of being druggies.

If (more likely when) he is officially shown to have lied to parliament and is fined by the police (which surely he must be), his position is untenable. If the tories fail to act, it will cost them votes.

It will take a while to orchestrate so as to be convenient for the contenders to get campaigns together, pledges of fealty and the rest. I'd expect the leadership contest to be taking place in summer once energy consumption falls, local election massacre is over, police completed investigation and covid deaths are in their summer lull.

I was just about to say, there’s still too much to go wrong they’ll want Johnson to take the fall for to shove him out the door yet.

That is of course, his entire reason for being in that position. These fckers cant believe their luck that they've had Johnson in place for the last 18 months as a buffer

How many examples do you need - aside from the Saville one he also this week said that there were more people in work now than before the pandemic

think is its not just him - they are all at it for example this just in

whats the saying about fish rotting from the head down...

Problem is most of the honourable tories got kicked out for refusing to vote for the "oven Ready" deal without having a chance to read and debate it
Hard to imagine Ken Clarke or Dominic Greive standing by silent whilst parliament is dragged down to below that of a banana republic

Starmer has him every week. Literally laugh at the PM’s incompetence. His own side know it but he’s a useful idiot for them right now, they sack him when they think they might lose their jobs at the next election.

I say don’t sack him though. He’s our best chance of winning!

I completely agree with you, and I do wish Labour and other parties had banded together to constantly challenge these mendacious claims that come out in a flurry every time DePfeffel is in the commons. It would neuter many of his claims and boosters about a country on the up when it just isn't.

The HoC has no power though. You can lie and get away with it if you have no moral integrity. If your back benchers have no moral integrity, they won't kick you either, its them eventually down to the public... and our track record has been pretty shocking the last decade.

But when/if he is found to have been at a party in Downing Street and fined, he has no road left and I can't see his backbenchers then allowing him to go on. It needs 180 to get rid. I'd rather they take their time to make sure they don't miss.

Johnson won't be Tory leader at the next election, but they'll let him take the flak for this & the Brexit shambles. Then a new lying not very nice person will come & all the stoopid feckers up north will vote another Old Etonian in.

Just watched Lisa Nandy tear Gove a brand new arsehole in the commons, if you're a doubting Labour voter, please watch it on YouTube, if ever there was a complete **** up of mistakenly choosing the wrong Labour leader this is it, Lisa Nandy is the real deal, Starmer is just another London centric, insular man, and lacking in the person of the people charisma.
I know some will say Starmer has done well recently grilling Boris, but, quite frankly Boris is a sitting duck and any opposition leader should be able to make hay at this point.
Lisa Nandy is the person I genuinely believe, would lead the Labour Party to an overwhelming election win against the rotten to the core Tories.

First job is getting the Tories out. Hopefully Labour focus on that. A leadership election for Labour would be worse than a shot in the foot. I'm sure there are better people than Starmer. Nandy or the Deputy Leader, but if you get drawn into that now you are mental. Full stop. Listening to the 13th Floor Elevators. I'd go Roky Erickson as PM, with Kate Rusby as Foreign Secretary for Barnsley & the other bits of the North.
