    Never really noticed Sams muted celebration because i was too busy celebrating myself his last minute equaliser.But the follow up comments on the different social media sites , mainly positive about Sam are beyond belief . Who knows why he did not peel off towards the Ponty end playoff style scoring style. Sam and the rest of the team are on a learning curve this , their first experience of championship football. They are bound to take time to adjust as does PH who has to choose the team and tactics do handle the various teams we have to face this season. Lets not get too carried away with the success of last season too much and enjoy the roller coaster ride that is life as a football fan...

    Two things here;

    1. Fans shouldn't be getting on Winnall's back. He's been fantastic for us. Strikers have lean spells. Live with it.

    2. I just don't believe he's got the titty-lip on because of what people are saying about him on t'interweb. If he has, he shouldn't. It's football.

    3. I said two. There is no 3.

    Completely agree. It's not like he's Brek Shea, Jacob Mellis, Emmanuel Frimpong or Scott ****ing Wiseman. Now they were pea hearted **** wits.

    Almost everyone I know who supports Barnsley loves Sam Winnall. At a level I've only seen with Redfearn and Hignett. There's no way he doesn't realise how much he's idolised. He just has very very high standards for himself so when he doesn't hit those immediately he looks annoyed. It's a good thing. He'll hit a streak this season and all this ***** will be forgotten.

    By nearly everyone...

    Has anybody actually 'got on his back', or is it just people suggesting he should be dropped for one of our other strikers? I've not listened to Radio Sheffield recently, and didn't get the chance to see any reaction from the Brighton game on here. I don't see anything wrong with people saying he should be dropped, if he's not performing. We've got a wealth of options upfront now, and he's got to play well to remain in the side.

    There were the ironic cheers when he got subbed off against Reading.

    Come to think of it, he went off in a rage when he came off in that game.
