    If people don't know what exactly happened with Stendel leaving why speculate and suggest things? It's not just pointless it can stimulate momentum for over-reaction and misplaced finger-pointing. That does no good, only to encourage conspiracy theories and to make others assume things that are inaccurate. Not healthy. If people know something then fine...

    Yanno what'd be grand? If the club actually said the first thing to quash the speculation.

    Otherwise we're going go try to figure out what the hell's going on with the club we all love

    Agreed. Tell us your feelings by all means, but all this "do you think this might have happened" doesn't help anyone.

    Don't mean if you've linked to a source, I mean if you've just made up something random.

    That's the point....if we don't know anything we can't figure out what happened. It's pipe-dreaming and pointless until there are some facts. At some point, no doubt, some information will come to light

    Agreed. Ideally the club need to admit and apologise for their failings and accept that their recruitment has been way short of what is necessary for the Championship, which they have totally underestimated. Won't hold my breath though...

    If I was in charge, I'd appoint Bobby or Disco, pretty much write this season off as player development time and ask the fans to get behind a young squad with huge potential. In 2 or 3 season this could be a special group of players, so patience and a commitment to keeping them together is required. Again, I won't be holding my breath.

    I mean, this is literally a Barnsley fc forum for people to discuss bfc matters and there has been a huge announcement with no explanation today so of course people will discuss it and in discussing it speculate what has happened based on the known facts. I don’t really understand what you are suggesting the outcome should have been- newsbots post with no responses while we all continue to discuss the factual stats of last weekends game (without speculating on the lineup for next weekends game)?

    Jose Morais was reappointed manager in the summer and Daniels face was photoshopped on all videos and pictures ever since. Morais wore a Stendel mask in the dug out
