    No just think they might have the edge.
    Been to Yugoslavia as it was in 89. Porec but I don’t think that is Croatia now.

    Got to mention Modric, what an unbelievable footballer he is. Such a great career - and to think, when he first arrived from Spurs, he got voted La Liga's worst signing... Shows what a bit of patience can do, ey!

    Did the commentator just said Spain had to wait 13 years for another trophy? They won Euros in 2012!

    Well that went well. Croatia had won their last 4 shoot outs, Spain had lost their last three. Thought Croatia would be more experienced and confident. Shows what a load of bolox previous form is :)

    Porec is most definitely Croatia, Istria region. Been there 3 times in the last 10 years, absolutely love the place.

    As it goes, I am in Croatia right now but not Porec this time. We are still in Istria, but down towards the bottom of the region in Medulin, near Pula. Day 2 of 14 day holiday. Bliss.

    Been out tonight, TVs tuned to the football everywhere, although I didn't watch it. Croatian flag everywhere, just love how proud they are of their country.

    Didn't know that - has been a bit of a golden generation for Croatia too, such a shame they haven't won anything. That midfield of Brozovic, Modric & Kovacic is as good as any current midfield 3 in the world, just a shame they haven't had a cracking striker to benefit from it. Even their defence has a couple of great laikers, in particular Gvardiol who has been linked with City for 80+ million...
