I know what you're thinking. Something annoying me? That can't be right. Anyway. What annoys me is things like the current top story on the BBC news website and that has dominated the news reports even on radio Sheffield. "British boy, 14, killed in Italy quake" Why does it suddenly matter so much more now that we know that 3 out of 268 (just over 1%) killed in an earthquake are British? It's like suddenly the lives of all those Italians are so much less significant.
Dunno, probably the same reason why when there's a world cup on we hear about the England side first.
