Not annoys as such, more like frustrates or slightly irritates me. And I know it's completely pointless and irrelevant and everything. But it's the messages on forums and emails where the mobile phone automatically includes a signature 'sent from my iPhone" or whatever. Look mate, nobody gives two hoots what you've sent your message from. You wouldn't do it in any other situation would you? Phone your mate up and have a conversation then just before you end the call say 'called from my iphone' you'd be in a padded cell before the call was disconnected. Imagine somebody turning up at the bfc box office, buying some tickets and just as they get to the door to walk out saying 'by the way I drove here in my car today. Bye' Anyway there's today's pointless rant
I'm assuming it only happens when using Tapatalk, as I've been posting from my phone this evening via the conventional site, and have no signature. By the way anyone, is Tapatalk any good? I've never tried it, mainly because the site works fine on my phone and I'm already overloaded with apps.
Occasionally gives problems after updates to the app, but generally Tapatalk works well for me and it's really the only thing I use. Very rarely use a laptop at all now. And I've just worked out how to remove my signature!!
I'm guessing that it's just kind of a default "signature" on Tapatalk, not some people showing off with the exact model numbers of their phones.
Might give it a go, if only to stop the reminder message coming up every time I open the site, that I don't have it!
