Pissed up Brits and loads of dance music - sort of Blackpool with sun....and yes I know there are areas that aren't like that but the bloody flight there would be enough to do my head in!

You've described the West End and the Superclubs, so not what Ibiza's about.

Now if you want to rub shoulders with chavs and wide-eyed, pink-skinned Brit tourists in bad copy designer wear pick somewhere cheap. Like Bulgaria.

As long as everyone is happy with their choice of holiday - that's what counts. It's about a well deserved holiday.

No, I didn't miss "it's not all like that" but it's a lot less like that than most resorts.

By the way, my trip to Bulgaria was some time ago, I'm sure it's improved since I was there.

I don't understand about the flights thing though. How are you getting to Bulgaria?

Most visitors to Ibiza are cool. Cool people vastly outnumber the piss-heads and you're unlikely to spot a pair of union flag shorts while there.

I don't know what you're expecting on the flight to Bulgaria but in my experience the worst flights are those to budget package holidays in family resorts.

 

Agree i have avoided package holidays at all cost for years now.

Fly into any French airport and i think you will be happy with whats on your doorstep,not sure about Perpignan though.
