Me, I became a dad for the first time to a baby girl on the 29th May, bank holiday Monday, hopefully a future BFC season ticket holder in the making
I'm currently giving blood for the first time as we speak. My good deed and I really don't like it. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
Been a very busy summer and looking forward to a long weekend in Devon and Dorset from Thursday. Probably most satisfying thing was taking my mum to Chatsworth Flower Show and her reaction from seeing such amazing displays for the first time. Second most satisfying, getting the back bedroom decorated and putting back in the original features.
Three things - Got our family holiday to Cyprus booked in early August, dropped a day at work, and gradually getting back to full fitness ready to ride a bike to Paris at the end of August. Good marker in the sand by riding out to Filey two weekends ago in the heat. Though the last few weeks have brought challenges of a different kind - I'll post seperately on that. Walked my darling daughter down the aisle, on Fathers day. One of the best days of my life. Managed to hold the tears in publicly but shed a few in private (in happiness) Certainly the best Fathers day ever
Only just started (about 2 months ago), having never even studied it at school but any pointers on material (books, etc) to help with the learning would be really helpful. Currently using 2-3 apps on my phone and reading at least one article on Bild daily. I'll never be great at speaking or listening, but I hope to be reasonable at reading and writing before too long. My aim is to try for B1 by next summer.
Me too as it goes. Nothing serious, but I downloaded Duolingo to see how much I could remember from my GCSE's and I got a little hooked. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
