He believes the young players will become proficient in the Championship as the season progresses. Well yer daft lovely person most of em proved quite proficient in the championship last season when they didn't have a complete fuckwit as head coach.
Not quite sure what you’re taking issue with here. None of Moon, Kitching, Gomes, Hondermarck, Leya Iseka & Oduor were either here or regulars last season. It’s not daft to expect young players to get better throughout the season. That nearly always happens with us. There’s enough reasons to fairly criticise the manager / team / club about without twisting things.
Young players get better over the season.. or disappear up their own ar5eh0le.. which seems to be happening at present..
So why didn't he say new players then, but really what I'm taking issue with is the fuckwit that's taken a squad that finished in the top 6 last season and ****** it up to such an extent that's it's unrecognisable. The fuckwit that after over a quarter of a season still can't or won't see the glaring problems in the way he as set up the team and is too arrogant to admit he's got it spectacularly wrong, instead he'd rather blame the young players he's ruining.
You could have a point but arguably players still available who played well last season are being kept out by Moon and Oduor at least . Sibbick and Frieser had a lot of game time last season this season they are in and out of the squad. He has J Williams who was one of our better players under Struber so Gomes Hondermarck and Iseka are new - but none have been regulars so far. All show promise though The way Williams Brittain Styles Palmer Sibbick and even Helik seem to be going backwards at the moment makes me think that these youngsters arent going to improve again under the current Head Coach - only Collins hasnt regressed - though he had a seperate GK coach of course and he is getting lots of practice. Schopp to state that the ones who were top 6 players last season now need time to develop to championship standard is a bit laughable to be honest
Imagine how the players must feel when they see him taking training again. Negligent by the club to keep him in charge.
Young players is self explanatory. It’s pretty obvious he’s not talking about players who aren’t young like Woodrow & Helik. It just seems like you’ve twisted his words to hurl abuse at him.
All fair points. I’d say Sibbick & Frieser whilst having game time weren’t key players. Probably anything between about 10 & 16 if you ranked players in importance. Them two, along with whoever partnered Mowatt were the weakest members of the side last season in my opinion. Far greater issue for me is that due to departures & injuries we’ve got 5 or 6 players in the team of the level of Frieser & Sibbick where as last season it was 2 or 3 at the most with the rest been championship quality. We’ve only got to look at how much worse we were towards the end of the season when Mowatt missed a couple of games to see the difference one quality player missing can make. All the players who were used to playing around him looked worse. Add Dike, Anderson & Morris to that with the replacements not been good enough (not yet anyway) & we have the mess we’re currently in.
The players don’t want to play for him, the fans don’t want to watch his style of play . He’s got to go ASAP
Your points would be more credible as would Schopps if the team were showing even a slight amount of improvement as the season progresses sadly the opposite is true they are getting worse he's not improved the performance of one single player and the only one playing anywhere near the same level is Collins and that's probably because he's been kept very busy and his job is the same whatever system or non system we play. He needs to go to prevent more damaged to the players they look completely drained of confidence and belief they lack motivation and when we go a goal down never look like turning it round.
I’m not saying anyone is getting better. I’m just saying that he’s saying he expects the young players to get better as the season goes on. That’s not unreasonable given the quality that’s to come back into the team. My points that all over this place people are twisting words & what’s happened just to abuse someone. You can not rate the manager & want him out without calling him a fuckwit & making out he’s saying things he hasn’t.
How else would you describe him after 1 win in 13 and the team still playing like they met 5 minutes before kick off with players like Styles Brittain Helik who were looking like accomplished championship players and better in Heliks case last season suddenly looking like L1 players at best. He's taken a team that finished in the top 6 and tried to completely change the way it plays failed miserably in that attempt and turned it into a bottom 3 side but flatly refuses to accept any responsibility for it and tries to blame the players. I think Fuckwit fits the bill as a description of somebody who blames everybody but himself for his inadequacy.
