How many clubs and manager's/ chairmen does a player go to see/speak to before they agree to go to a club. Because the way it gets presented is that it often isnt until they actually sign.

I was mainly thinking as a player. If it were me I'd want to visit every possible club/place to see if I could be happy there but this doesn't seem to happen until they sign a lot of the time?

this is where the system works d.s. picks his preference off the list then is free to get on with the coaching with no hassle ( only bobby) bit like having a personal shopper

To be fair i think the agents do all the spade work.
The players look at the pound signs these days.

all the old sages in the club on saturday night were in all agreement ( and thats a 1st in itself) that if a player/agent is approached by barnsley its a wise move to go and atleast have a look because this move may not be the richest but the way we develop young talent then there's more chance that the next one will be

Yup. Agents will circulate names and try to gather interest, then offer their client the options...
