Apols if already covered in another thread. Just noticed it on the Twitters tonight, that Helik made the team.

As great a player as he’s been for us, how the fk can a centre half for a team finishing bottom, 11 points from safety, with a procession of worst stats, in arguably our worst 2nd tier campaign ever, be chosen for the best 11?

I’m sure others will disagree, but I just find it utterly bizarre.

Drives up his summer transfer value (just don't say we were relegated!!!).

I don't even think he played well for the majority of the season. In a disaster of a team he didn't stand out as a good player. You can perform well as an individual and your team still be relegated. Chris O'Grady had an excellent season for us when we went down. I have no problem with the performances of Morris and Collins this season. But Helik? The best I can say about him is that in a team that finished bottom of the table, with only 6 victories all season, he sometimes didn't look as bad as the others. But often did.

It is just done through laziness. They have based it purely on average ratings from the WhoScored website. If proper pundits/fans had been involved in picking we wouldn't have had any players anywhere near it.
