    Not being judgemental here but don’t you agree sitting all day watching the brain numbing daytime telly might be having an affect on you.

    Me and my brother were adopted 60 years ago. I wrote Nicky a letter saying we were adopted from a family in Perth and could he help find our mother.
    Sorry he said. Can’t help.

    Been retired 14 months now and don't have time for tv, always something to do if you look( or the Wife finds something). Go walking that gets you out rain or shine doesn't bother me.

    Having worked every day of my life since 15 and trying to retire twice but found it mentally hard to just stop. Now two years on love it got myself an allotment joined a walking group a bit of voluntary work I wonder how I had time to go to work, never mind TV.

    Been retired 13 years. I had the opportunity to go early and never looked back.
    I posted my silly post about Nicky Campbell from the bus from Aberdeen. Had a nice day out and now sitting having a few pints before heading home.
    No time for silly programs on daytime tv.

    Retired early last October, can honestly say I have not watched a minute of daytime TV in that time, dunno how I ever found time for work, been that busy. I love being an old fart.

    Whilst agreeing that too much tv is not a great idea, I'd argue that many of us probably spend far too much time on the BBS....

    It does. It can cause blindness. I've learnt to switch off the telly and put redtube on my phone.

    Hang on, are you Dragon Tyke? Or do two separate BBSers have an irrational hate for Nicky Campbell? I can't keep up.Time to retire so I can keep an eye on things properly.

    You'll know all about the ins and outs of stairlifts, over 50s policies, funeral costs, cremation, self raising armchairs, mobility chairs and scooters, residential care homes, etc etc.
    They've got you in their grasp now until the day you die.

    Fired. I have no issue with Nicky. My post was only a bit of humour.
    I like a laugh. And I also like that reuniting program Nicky and Davina front.
