yesterday I've gone from Kerry to Dublin, Dublin to Carcassonne and Carcassonne to Narbonne and there's not been a fallout worth mentioning on here. You lot are losing yer grip! However after three months solid of rain coming sideways, gales and semi daylight in Kerry it's 16 degrees and sunny here and we're just about to head out for a meal and a large glass of wine. Cheers everybody.
Have a good one! I'm off to Dublin in March, it'll be the first time I've been for a good 6 or so years (and the first visit for my Mrs), so any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Just had a lovely three course meal including steak, a couple of glasses of Grimbenberger (or something similar) beer which was gorgeous. 30 euro each!
Oh dear Sparky. I saw you after over 16 pints of the stuff. You spent the night on the bog if you remember.
Oddly, the best Guinness I ever had was in 1984 in Madrid. At a bar just up the street from my sister's flat, imported from Dublin - as opposed to the bilge from Warrington or wherever it came from in Britain.
Had 1 pint at the brewery. Sorry but not my cup of tea. I’m sure lots will disagree but lager is my preference.
Once went on holiday to Mauritius and bottles of Guinness were available behind the bar. Didn't realise till I tried one, they were 7.5%abv! That did blow your socks off!! (Guinness Export)
Guinness Export is a fine drink. I do see it in supermarkets from time to time. I'm more of a craft beer ponce, but currently in Turkey on an all inclusive, so supping free lager on the sun terrace. Will be watching the game at 6pm local time via iFollow....
