This day in age, it shouldnt be funny. What with equal ops and all that jazz. But I have to admit, that made me laugh
She's usually a brilliant official and to be fair it did look way offside in real time. But I guess she should've probably kept the flag down if there was a chance a goal could've come of it. Ref did well to not blow whistle and as the ref didn't blow the players should've carried on playing in my opinion.
From what you say she did the right thing. It looked offside in real time so she flagged after allowing the play to come to a conclusion, therefore giving VAR the chance to overrule.
Not judging you, really not, but to me this whole thread comes across as really misogynist. I don't make the rules, I don't say what is and isn't OK, my opinion isn't worth anymore than anyone else's, I won't judge you going forward, but for me, and just for me, almost every word of what you've written is about as uncool and **** as I can imagine.
I remember the Chelsea away game in the Premier when Wendy Toms was on the line , she failed to flag for a fowl for their first goal then an offside for the second , it prompted a chant of ‘ she’s had stroke ‘ followed by ‘ vile strumpet’
I hope you're not saying this just because she's a woman. Why differentiate ? Couldn't you have said the linesperson with longer hair.
We both have our opinions. In mine this is THE most misogynist thread I've ever read on this bulletin board. In yours it's not. I don't claim mine is any more worthwhile than yours. But it absolutely is called for.
It was a close call with the West Brom player playing the City striker on side being on the other side of the pitch to the Assistant
miso is Greek for hate, so misogynistic is a bit strong as she only calls offside wrong and burns cakes,in sheds story
