A goalkeepering error in the first minute or two gifted Shrewsbury a goal. After that the defence was shambolic. Shrewsbury seemed to have men to spare around our penalty area whenever they pushed forward. We could have been 4-0down by half time. Cavare seemed to being too easily beaten plus caught out of position and the midfield cluttered and unable to find anyone on the wings to bring into play. Thiam was slow and ineffective on the wing and Moore kept having to drop back to the half way line at one point to get hold of the ball. Shrewsbury just kept pressing us and we looked sluggish and lacking pace or creativity The second half changes improved things for a time but losing Dougall to a bad tackle didn't help our cause. They were quieter in the second half but Cavare never got off the ground and was at fault for their third and killer goal. No player played really well and some were terrible. Can't see how Daniel Stendel can bring anyone into the squad but Hedges gave us some width and somebody for the midfield to spread the play to rather than the midfield charge down the middle. Neither Cavare nor Williams supplied crosses of quality int the middle. Marking and set plays need a lot of working on. Plus attitude too in some players
