    Thinking on my part here.
    A few weeks ago, it was widely reported Barnsley, along with Celtic, had made enquiries about the availability of David Turnbull at Motherwell. It was reported at the time a £2m offer had been made, which was rejected by Motherwell. Rumours, although I've no idea on the accuracy, were that it was Barnsley who had made the offer.
    Fast forward to today and I see Barry Fry at Peterborough has decried the offer made by Hull to buy Marcus Maddison. Fry has said Hull haven't the money to buy Maddison, who apparently has a £2.5m buyout clause in his contract.
    I was wondering, if Turbull was indeed on our radar at £2m, is it possible we could be interested in Maddison for £2.5m?
    I think I ought to go back to drinking my mineral water and forget about reading, and creating, transfer gossip!:D

    I think you lost your audience at 'pie', mate. If you'd prefixed with 'vegan', I'd have probably turned off too..:)
    As always, I agree with your philosophy. Leave football dealing with the club & congratulate or tear new arses later...

    Not beyond the realms Lil. He certainly would be a good addition. Still not forgiven Fry for running
    up and down the touch line when Claridge scored again for Birmingham. Can't remember, did it finish 0-5
    that day.? Recall the Ponte end taunting Claridge by shouting gypo at him every time he got the
    ball, but he certainly had the last laugh that day.

    Not sure if Stendel would want to introduce that type of attitude into a feel good atmosphere at the minute.

    He’s a brilliant player as shown by the stats he produces but supposed to be a right b***end

    As I said, pure pie-in-the sky gibberish from myself. I have absolutely no idea what Maddison's attitude is like , so am unable to comment on it.
