Not a great deal of desire, quality or passion out there.

Not sure I agree with that.

Do Birmingham look full of passion and desire compared to us?

    I suggest not.

Lack of quality goes without saying but no excuse for lack of desire or passion.

They're trying, again, they're just nowhere near good enough at either end. Play it around nice enough in the middle of the pitch, but as soon as it comes to playing a final ball or shooting they forget they're professional footballers.

And of course, as we've shown already tonight, we're only a needless bit of faffing or poor marking from conceding - thankfully Birmingham haven't taken advantage yet.

That's how I saw it. Some nice play from likes of Brown. Couple of decent attempts and we might sneak a win tonight.

I think the weather has a lot to do with it. I reckon it’s been a good half for us under the circumstances

What about when their goalie had to make a decent save from Styles (I think)?

I must have imagined the saves their keeper has made then.

We've played the better football? The killer pass has been lacking but considering the conditions I don't think we should be too critical of that performance.

I don't think you can level a lack of passion at that first half.

They need to get their finger out. Wigan winning against Middlesbrough and Charlton
winning at Forest. Three points are essential for us tonight.

Regardless, we have had the better chances in my opinion.

Clearly watching a different game to me! I enjoyed that half. Birmingham are second to most balls and considering the conditions we have put their goalkeeper under far more pressure they have ours and he has made two decent saves. As for no passion or desire?? Really??
We are more than matching Birmingham and have been by far the better side so are you saying they are not good enough either?

So this is a game where neither team are trying?

Sleeting and strong winds. Our passing accuracy has been 69% to 42% from them which sort of negates your accusation that we are giving ball away easily.

There seems to be a creeping negativity on this BB even when we are playing OK.

Not saying we’re playing mint but to say we are playing poor is a bit stupid imo. Conditions are awful. Birmingham still playing the highball and every time they have we’ve won most battles and played proper football. Brown once again the main highlight. Long way to go. We need to win this every bugger is winning. Tuesdays really don’t agree with us or we don’t agree with Tuesdays arghh
