Let's be right though at this point of the season if we had of been asked to accept being 4 points outside the play offs who wouldn't of took it at the beginning of August....

International break now to get some energy back and any knocks or injured players back to fitness.

I think we've missed Aidy white so to see him on the bench today was very positive.

 

1 point in 12 and 2 goals conceeded in three of our last four games. Stats can be looked at however people want to but we definitely need to find our form again quickly. Wouldn't be a surprise after the international break to see Jackson given a go in defence or Bree or even both. As much as we rate our defenders individual, the back four recently haven't been doing it collectively.

 

I agree we have struggled of late which is why I was glad to see white back in the squad. We seem far better going forward with him in behind Hammill on the overlap and defensively I think he's better than who's playing at the moment.

 

I'm disappointed we've lost to local rivals today.
But I'm chuffed that after a quarter of the season has gone (as near as damn it), we're in the top ten of the Championship, we've got a positive goal difference, we've seen some great victories, we've watched some wonderful football and spent very little in comparison to the vast majority of clubs in this division when putting together our squad. I think as the season progresses, we'll have more ups than downs and our young squad will continue to improve.

It's a bit crap when we lose but I'd rather lose games in the top half of the championship than the bottom three of league one

 

We need a win against Fulham despratly that wolves result seems like a while back now international break has come at a good time.... starting jackson?? I thought angus had a good game today? Need to stop tinkering with front two imo

He has to keep four strikers happy at the moment and he expects them to run their socks off game after game, for me he is gerrin it reight and we will drop on the reight partnership as they are gerrin to know each others games. Playing 2 games a week at the tempo he wants he is obviously going to rotate them from time to time. Fresh legs have come on at the latter end of the game and been successful.

 

I'm disappointed to lose against Leeds but not in the team or our performances so far. We need to regroup and go back to basics and the break gives us a chance to do this. 16 points in September who wouldn't have settled for that.

I do think we need to try and dried on a settled front 2 and that Marley should be part of that but I'm sure Hecky will sort it out.

 

Missing white at full back , strange how Roberts isn't taking no throw ins hardly now , as he is staying back to defend . We are losing every a good opportunity to attack and we must have lost possession from every one of our throw ins virtually yesterday .

 

Hasn't took one scince Mawson left don't know if he doesn't like agnus back on his own... People complained when he did take em saying nowt ever came of em.... Did Cole have a bad game?? Didn't go yesterday listened to it on radio Sheffield instead

 

Just seems Roberts not taking a throw in puts us under pressure rather than on an attack . Cole played ok and assisted in goal again , but white defends and attacks better .

 

Think there needs to be a bit of realism amongst some of our fans, we just can't compete financially with most clubs in this league.

If we finish above clubs like Leeds & Wolves with their spending power it'd be an incredible achievement.

As it is if we finish around 18th above the likes of Burton, Rotherham, Blackburn, Cardiff, Wigan & Preston we've had a good season.

I'm just happy we're doing what I'd hope we'd do which is playing the same brand of attacking football we did in league one & been in entertaining games.
