it sounded like a brilliant match, and what a result eh weve beat them!! what a couple of players we have in hourihane & scowen. this championship is piece of absolute piddle isnt it
Sounds like we're not missing Brownhill at all. Without wanting to get ahead of ourselves or put a dampener on things, I think we would really struggle if we lost both Scowen and Hourihane (for nothing).
ohh of course, and im still concerned at a few other things to be honest. (a few too many goals being conceded and remember we wont keep on scoring this many. and our main striker signing bradshaw has misfired again) if conor does still want to leave then at least hes going about it in the right way, hes doing his absolute best for us at the moment while he still can. i think we will really struggle to replace him.
Actually, the fact that Bradshaw has had a slow start and that Adam Hammill isn't firing on all cylinders yet doesn't worry me at all - if anything it shows that there's even more to come. And if we could just get Fletcher back...... the potential is frightening.
Tonight proved to me that we will have no problems in this league whatsoever, we,ve upped our game from last season and who knows.
yes of course lets not forget about winnall, but hes still a good few weeks away yet isnt he. and id like to ask anybody here, whats the news on ashley fletcher. i thought hed signed for west ham and that meant our interest in him was officially over. has he only signed for them on loan or are they looking to loan him out for matchday experience etc ?
let me finish......i spoke to sammy at metrodome yesterday (he was swimming as part of his rehab). He said he would be back before september...good news
Think Bradshaws done ok tbh. Good workrate. Players arnt doing him any favours by pumping balls up in the air. Someone at 5"3 v 6" +
