    Not giving Newcastle another 1,300 or so tickets has killed the crowd too. Should have been looking at 20k but be lucky to get 18k now.

    I think this will be the last match where the club will be riding on last seasons promotion momentum. All I see is an easy win for Newcastle sadly with the team as thin as it is. There'll be 14 thousand home fans there, 3 thousand will be part timers who won't come again till Wednesday come to tarn. So when we lose 3-0 the knives will be out. Hecky will be under pressure due to criticism from folk who only last saw us at Wembley. Hopefully we get something but if we don't I hope the club doesn't listen to those part timers who think they know it all.

    A glance at what is now available in terms of free seats suggests we will have well over 12,000 home fans and very possibly over 13,000. As 5700 away fans are supposedly coming, the attendance looks likely to be over 18,000 and could just possibly top 19,000. 20,000 is not out of the question but is unlikely. I'll go for 18,850. Recent form would suggest an easy Newcastle win, but the law of averages suggests we are due to get a point at least and may even get a surprise win. I'll go for 1-1 and an exciting game. I'm hoping for 5-0.
