Forest play 5,2,2,1 with wingbacks. Bradshaw up against 3 centre backs. Daryl Murphy bullying our CB's to create space for McKay and Dowell. Hope I'm wrong but think this could be a long old night. Reckon 3-1 forest. Hopefully our fullbacks and wingers can double up on their wingbacks.
Bradshaw played upfront on his own for Walsall and did okay with sawyers just behind him if we play football instead of hoofball and moncur supports the attacks we may be okay. Forest have won 3 out of 3 though won't be easy at all
Personally felt we just lacked experience on Saturday and we have no one on the bench other than Mowatt to give us that bit more. Play the same team and let them build on Saturday.
Hope he repays heckys faith in him. Hard to see us get a win I'd take a point now let's just get some on the board.
Ipswich played 5 at the back in the first half and we were comfortably the better team. Why wouldn't we go with the same tactics/XI? It was only when they went to 4 at the back that we fell to pieces. Hecky just needs to make sure he can counter that if it happens, perhaps by bringing Ugbo on alongside Bradshaw.
PH can't win at times. If he had gone 4-4-2 then people would've complained that Forest's 3/4/2/1 or 5/2/2/1 would overrun our midfield. I've every confidence that PH will have drilled his players and that each will know his job, it's how we react when Forest change personnel and system that worries me.
Got friendly with a few Wallsall lads after the play offs who said that Bradshaw was poor when played on his own and it was only when He played with Hiwula (sp) that he was a match winner.
