Just realised they both play for Wycombe.......how we could do with a little bit of experience up to assist Cauley at the minute.......what the **** we done this season

Assist cauley? I dont think our strikers are the problem this season we could go out and sign harry kane and he wouldnt score many because all our strikers feed of scraps from the poor midfield and the tippy tapp play in your own half style we play when we do attack its ponderous slow and predictable.

 

We can go from defence to attack and pick it to pieces, we trained a squad up last year to get results (which worked) then this year asked them to do total opposite........play to your strengths n all that eh

 

Exactly. Up front is least of our problems. It’s all about a poor midfield and predictable style of play.

 

Add to that, our strikers simply don’t play as out and out forwards, as you say the service is also a problem. Get the midfield sorted and I believe we would see a massive improvement.

 

The change in style is the biggest problem maybe just maybe val knew they couldnt play like man city so didnt ask them to. Like you say play to your strengths. For me if i was bringing anyone in it would be a midfielder who was tough and can win back possesion and a midfielder who likes to get on the ball and make things happen. Sam morsey would have been a good signing in the summer. Also for me we dont have players good enough to change formation if we wanted to go 442 we wouldnt have good enough wide players or central players in midfield to play it squads a joke but strikers arent the problem imo.
