He's not been in the job 2 minutes and he could be in bother. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37479135
I think that he will be very lucky to keep his job. The video of him leaves no reason to doubt. Once again, money and greed at the root of all this.
Should never have been appointed. No record of success at any level and part of the greed is good culture.
Id say at the top level in the uk the suits are all in the same trough. Too much money = greed and corruption
Hope he gets the sack, at first I thought it would be a good appointment, but he failed to drop the favourites, nothing has changed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Someone pointed out that the nearest he came to winning a trophy was when he lost a match to a team managed by Steve McClaren.
My sentiments too. Need somebody who isn't scared of shaking it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'd keep him in the job. With his 'unique' approach to transfer dealings perhaps he could 'engineer' a method of getting Bale, Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez in a 3 Lions shirt ;-) gu on Sam lad
Allardyce was exposed 10 years ago. How he got the England job and Redknapp didn't is beyond my ken... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_English_football_corruption_investigation
Aye that Division 3 title with Notts County 20 years ago screams that he will be a successful international manager.
Not following your logic - Redknapp is about as straight as Allardyce - neither of them have exactly unblemished records when it comes to "facilitating" transfers etc Maybe Redknapp's dog would be a more honest appointment? At face value this time round Allardyces position is looking very fragile though - but the Media have been known to spin stories out of context in the past. If it is what it seems then he has to go
Agreed, Dave. Which is why I was surprised Allardyce got the job, where a few years ago Redknapp's dodgy dealings kept him out of the job. Even after he had left Spurs ready to take it.
