    I’m sure all footballers live their lives inspite of the things that don’t turn out as they would like.
    My overriding memory of DB are the goals like the ons against Spurs and particularly Huddersfield not the penalty miss.

    Met him and his wife at antenatal classes back in 2000. Lovely bloke and a nice down to earth couple. Very strange puffing and panting next to one of your heroes. For clarity, this was at the classes and not at conception.

    Barney was a good player for us. If only he'd have scored the penalty
    at Wembley against Ipswich in the play off final, who knows what the
