    Is this what we’re reduced to? Getting all excited about a manager who’s been holding out for the Blackpool job but who we now might get after all because the Seasider’s have moved for someone else? Give me Stendel any time

    But we don’t know that do we and how do you know he’s been holding out for the Blackpool Job? All speculation, why not wait and see who’s appointed and what the club and New Head Coach have to say first?

    Agree, it's completely natural to sound out all your options, see what gets offered and then make a choice based on that. We might not offer it him. We might offer it him and he might turn it down.

    Just have to see how it all pans out.

    I agree we don’t but it what is implied by the op. However we have been ‘courting’ Duff for what seems like forever, so if the two pieces suddenly fall into place then it all would look suspicious to me.

    tbf we approached cheltenham long before Blackpool got involved. I don't think it would be a case of us settling for their seconds at all. also, let's not forget Stendel was touting himself around other clubs while he was still with us.
