    He and McDonald have made a really impressive start, especially considering the step (or steps) up in leagues.

    Whole squad has to be fair. We are a team of former L1,L2 and non league players who have stepped up to championship and competed in nearly all games, and won our fair share.

    I do think we will be looking to strengthen in January in one or two spots but think the whole squad is a credit to the town so far.

    From what I've heard only Brighton. Every other game think we've played as well or better than the opposition.

    Sorry mate but I wasn't being pedantic at all. Just pointing out that the team has been even more impressive than your original post implied. Since you seem to actually agree with me you could have responded to my first reply by saying so and avoided getting stressed out on your broken iPhone whilst feeding your kid.

    All I said (correctly) was that the word "nearly" was not required.

    If you're incapable of having a friendly discussion on a forum board, why bother?

    No problem mate, I remember what it was like having young children, probably the most stressful of life events. Hope you bring him/her up properly - to be a Barnsley fan of course.....

    When you take into account Marc was playing non league football less than eighteen months ago, he does himself great credit (as should our coaching staff) that he's looked every bit of a Championship player so far this season. He also appears to be developing as a natural leader on the pitch, too, especially since Alfie Mawson left.
    Marc will probably take over as my favourite current Barnsley player when Conor eventually leaves.:)
