anyone else think that there is something not right between these two? with the contract situation and lack of transfer backing i get the feeling ritchie is very frustrated about the tight constraints he is being made to work under.
RE: either that or we go bust I'm a little tird of hearing that one now. current stories go that m oney has been pledged for players like Shipperley on £6k a week. If we can pledge that kind of support then we can afford younger, presumably cheaper players
RE: either that or we go bust I'm a little tired of it as well. The fact of the matter is that if we don't spend some money on half decent players, we definitely will go bust. My theory about "the problem" is that Shepherd/Cryne will only guarantee funds for experienced players (the kind that we need) and Ritchie doesn't want experienced players because he's probably scared they might know more than he does.
From last years Cryne/shep Q and A at darfield cricket Club it came across that Mr Cryne and GS had made money available to Ritchie and in their words 'wouldn't spend it due to upsetting existing players'.
They also added that they were worried by Ritchie's determination not to spend a penny.

RE: From last years Cryne/shep Q and A He wouldn't go for a piss?
That can give you water infections.
