not football obviously but in the rugby the ref gives a scrum to Ireland for a knock on. Big screen shows a replay and first knock on is from Ireland. Referee apologises to players and reverses his decision having seen the replay. That’s how referees get respect instead of sticking to clearly wrong decisions and never explaining
Agree however rugby lends itself more to stop & starting to review decisions more than football does. However I wish players showed more respect to refs like Rugby players do.
