In my opinion we played some delightful football today and deserved to win against a team built by our ex manager who were an absolute disgrace; and that's an understatement. Wilbrahim in particular was a really good illustration of how ugly the modern professional footballer can be. Shameful and not worthy to be playing the game. Constantly in the refs face. He should have been sent off within the first 15 minutes. Pathetic refereeing and also a pathetic performance from the linesmen. Tomlin was not far behind him. Add to that the assault on ssw and it sums up what Lee Johnsons side was about today.
Why didn't the spineless ref say to the animal wilbrahim, "one more word and off you go"? I've never been as angry at a football match for a long long time as watching that Bristol side today. I didn't mind Lee Johnson. I thought he did contribute to the rebuilding of the side. However, any respect I did have for him has now completely gone. His side were appalling. Truly appalling. Cheating, time wasting, mouthing off at the officials incessantly, feigning injury, time wasting, ugly cynical fouls. A terrible team. And ugly long ball to boot.
By contrast we put in a brilliant performance. Who said 442 couldn't work in this division? Ryan Kent ripped that defence a new ars hole every time he got the ball. Good old 442. In fact when hecky made the substitution (wrong one for me) we went 451 and they scored. We went back to 442 and we equalised. 442 can work in this league because we have some quality in the side. We are a proper team of battlers with much skill and these lads and this managament team have definitely brought pride back to our club.
My mate Curtis said that Sammy should never take a pen that he wins. Think I agree.Hes too hyped up. But what a game he had. In fact all of them played well. Andy Yiadom, despite some typical early season criticism on here, is a quality footballer. My motm today.
Lots of emotion went into that game today and whilst I'm pleased we rescued a point I really feel we deserved to win. Sorry for banging on so long but I still feel incensed by the Bristol approach to the match. Hope they fail badly. Worst team I've seen so far this season.

Pretty good summary. Your mate Curtis has just about calmed down from his rant at the linesman for missing that (I'm sure Abraham was offside too for their 2nd).

That was a display of anti-football from City today. Sums LJ up perfectly as a coach.

Anti football curt. That's exactly what it was. I'm still angry now about the spineless officiating and the ugly face of football as demonstrated by that tw't wilbrahim and the arrogant pr.ick tomlin. Disgraceful. And oneil, should get banned for the elbow on ssw.

Played really well today could have been 7-2 if all our near misses had gone in , unlucky .
