That reminds me of many years ago when I was playing cricket, we had an Indian leg-spinner come to play for us. The rules about overseas players were, at the time, rather vague, and we weren't sure whether he qualified as he was not British. His name was Harrish Thakoor. When we filled out his registration form we used rather dubious handwriting, and his name went down as Harry Thacker, and no objections were raised. The poor lad spoke no English at all apart from "Owzat?", "Good Catch!", "Yes", "No", "Wait" and "Shot!". RED ARMY!
